Quiet buildings that age well
A workshop of six in Copenhagen. We draw in section first, build models in card, and choose materials that weather rather than fail.

Meridian was founded in 2011 by two architects who wanted to work on fewer, better projects. We are six people now, and every project is still led by a partner who visits the site every week.
Every project starts with a long walk of the site. We design in section before plan, test ideas in card models, and favour materials that improve with age: timber, brick, lime, zinc.
